If you follow the process, you have chosen a topic you know well and love.

That’s the “T” in the formula. Your business lives or dies by the traffic it gets. Think of a brick and mortar store. If no customers come in, you have no business.

On a website, the only way people land on your page is if you give them your address directly, or you come up in search results.

Believe me, it is much easier to just come up in the search results. But how?

When you type in a term at google, like “how to build a website”, a results page comes up.

Look at the example in the picture below. Do you see how the page is divided into a right and left side?

The results on the right side of the page are paid for, and the ones on the left side of the page are free. That's called free website traffic.

I am a little partial, but I really, really like the left side of the page, especially the top of it.

How would you like your site to come up there?

We thought so. So did we.

Or you can do both if you know what to do, and want to.

What brings the free website traffic? Excellent content that you have written about the subject you know, are passionate about, and have written with profitable keywords that your visitors are searching for.

You could call well written websites that get free search engine traffic search engine websites.

Know why I put that last sentence in there? Because people are searching for the term “search engine websites” and I want to be found by them!

And also if people are searching for this term, you may be one of them, and I want to give you the information you are looking for.

In fact have you noticed how I keep repeating “how to build a website” in all of my headings?

Ah, you are catching on.
