Is It Safe To Take MaxGXL with Synthroid and High Blood Pressure?

by Pat

I have a history with hypertension and am currently on Synthroid. Is it safe to take MaxGXL with this?

Answer:

I don't directly know. Here's what I can tell you though:

MaxGXL is designed to raise your glutathione.

I have listed the labeled precautions for MaxGXL on my website here.

Here is a quote from the page:

"The caution on the MaxGXL label states that this product is for adult use only, and is not for use by young children, pregnant women, or nursing mothers.

The allergy warning for Max GXL states that "This product contains ingredients derived from shellfish and mushrooms." Since Cordyceps is a mushroom, and D-Glucosamine is derived from shellfish, if you have a mushroom or shellfish allergy, you may not be able to take this product.

So who should not take MaxGXL? Children, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and those with a mushroom or shellfish allergy."

This is all according to the manufacturer's label.

You should also be aware of the possible side effects of NAC usage, which are reported on here:

See the section on NAC.

If you still have questions after considering this information, you can contact MaxGXL directly with this question, since I do not represent them, and also discuss this with your doctor. There is a customer service number on their official site, www.maxgxl.com .

I have chosen Immunocal as the glutathione enhancer I am willing to put my name and reputation behind, and this may be safely taken if you have hypertension and are taking Synthroid, since it is a food, and has no known drug interactions.

NAC, which is the main active ingredient in MaxGXL, is an over the counter drug with limited research on its long term safety with chronic daily usage. NAC has been used for years in emergency medicine for acetaminophen overdose, and only recently has been sold as a daily supplement.

Immunocal is the most effective, safe, and natural way to raise and sustain your glutathione.

You can order Immunocal here.
