What Are The Ingredients In Immunocal Platinum?

Hello, what are the ingredients in the Immunocal Platinum? They don't seem to be listed, as with the other products, they are.

Thank you!

Great question.

Immunocal Platinum = Immunocal + Cytokine Modulating Proteins (CMP) and Redox Modulating Formula (RMF). That's a mouthful! What does that mean?

Let's break it down.

Immunocal lists "Whey Protein Isolate" as its only ingredient. This is to provide basic labeling information for the lay person to know what went into the product, but says nothing about its ability to raise glutathione, its biological value, biological property, nutritional value, or mechanism of action. It just lists an ingredient as required by law to satisfy label requirements for the lay person to know basically the origin of the ingredient in the box.

Immunocal is manufactured using a state of the art patented process that providing an ingredient name would not begin to accurately describe.

It is much the same for Immunocal Platinum. The box simply states "Whey Protein Isolate Powder With Minerals and Creatine."

The ingredient label says "Whey protein isolate, creatine (monohydrate), potassium (citrate monohydrate), Sodium (citrate), Calcium (citrate), Magnesium (citrate), and Citric Acid.

Again, this is stated for the lay person to understand the nature and origin of the ingredients, however this does not explain the formulation of the patented ingredients that have been name by their formulator, Dr. Wulf Droge, as Cytokine Modulating Proteins and Redox Modulating Formula.

What are these factors that have been added, and what do they do?

In the development of this enhanced version of Immunocal, the Immunotec scientists looked carefully at both the biochemistry of protein metabolism, and at potential components of whey sub-fractions that relate to aging, and then added two separate formulations to Immunocal.

The first is Cytokine Modulating Proteins (CMP™, a trademark of Glanbia, LLC), which represents the next generation of whey protein subfractions.

These components play roles in repairing cell damage, promoting healthy cell differentiation and growth, and inhibiting abnormal cell growth. As you can glean from the name, CMP can also modulate cytokines, small molecules of the immune system that signal for inflammation.

In addition, Redox Modulating Formula (RMF) is an exclusive development from Immunotec’s senior researcher, Dr. Wulf Dröge.

The challenge of neutralizing the potential increase in acid production in individuals ingesting high amounts of protein has been successfully resolved with the RMF. High acid levels have been correlated with a number of different health challenges including the calcium loss seen in osteoporosis (brittle bones).

RMF helps to maintain proper muscle function, bone health, and a strong immune system.

You should choose Immunocal Platinum If…

You want all the benefits of the original Immunocal, plus:

*Natural support for optimizing pH (acid/base) balance

*Preventing calcium loss and ensuring stronger bones

*Maintaining proper muscle strength and function

*Achieving proper balance of blood glucose and insulin metabolism

*Assistance with digesting protein

To sum up, Immunocal Platinum has whey protein isolate, minerals and creatine, but the benefits you would achieve by taking it could not be achieved by trying to put these ingredients together on your own. The special formulations were developed over many years of research by Dr. Wulf Droge, a world-renowned and highly published and peer reviewed Immunologist.

Fortunately for us, we don't have to go to medical school to understand how the ingredients interact and work, we just know that they do!
