Is Glutathione good for lowering blood sugar, cholesterol and high blood pressure?

by Sharon Gray

I have been diagnosed diabetic and with a fatty liver. I take thyroid medication and have been told I had gallstones. My cholesterol and blood pressure are fine. My fbs is usually 116. I want to know how glutathione can help these symptoms. I take flaxseed oil and fish oil to keep my cholesterol under 200. My doctor says my good cholesterol is good but she would like it 30 points lower because I have been diagnosed diabetic.

Dear Sharon,

Thanks for your great questions. Let's take these one at a time.

What glutathione is shown to do in medical studies is well researched, as there are now over 130,000 published articles on PubMed on the subject. So let's take them one at a time. I've printed a page on each topic that is covered by published research that I will link to below, so you can do your own research.

Now to address the additional concerns in your comments:

Glutathione and Fatty Liver Disease

I have not found any research showing a direction connection between glutathione and either gallstones or low thyroid function. You should consult your physician for further information on these conditions.

Flaxseed and fish oil are excellent nutritional sources for your diet. I have printed more information on nutrition tips here.

Given all of this information, it seems likely that glutathione will assist with some of your various health concerns and it would be helpful for you to take Glutathione Precursor each day. Without knowing your age or weight, 1 or 2 pouches a day is fine for most, which means ordering one or two boxes per month, and can be adjusted according to how you feel and make progress over time. I would suggest that one of the boxes be Immunocal Platinum.

Immunocal is the most effective, safe, and natural way to raise and sustain your glutathione.

You can order Immunocal here. To qualify for a 20% or 30% discount on your order, please click here.
